We’re facing a turbulent few months and need to raise a minimum of £60,000 before the end of September to help relocate our visitor facilities. The lease for the current buildings ends in September, and despite lengthy negotiations, the charity has concluded that moving out is the only option to protect our long-term future. We now have the enormous challenge of relocating to a brand-new area on-site.
Planning permission for a new visitor centre had been successfully gained in 2019, but the ravages of the pandemic and funding challenges have rendered these plans unviable.
