Our gorgeous garden is owned and operated by Painswick Rococo Garden Trust, a registered charity no. 1107844. The Trust’s charitable aims were set by its founding trustees back in the 1980s and are “to promote for the benefit of the public the preservation, maintenance and improvement of the Painswick Rococo Garden and any structures or buildings contained therein as a place of historic and ecological interest and beauty, and to advance the education of the public into the history of the Painswick Rococo Garden and natural history and into horticulture and other related fields.”
Each year, we produce an annual review which captures what the Trust has achieved through the hard work of its friendly and dedicated team of staff and volunteers. Our review of 2022 is now available to download here and summarises a year of signficant change for the charity. Whilst it was not an easy year, with major challenges to overcome, it was also a successful year with much to celebrate, as you will read.
Our review of 2023 will be available next winter, once the charity’s annual accounts have been finalised and filed.
A huge thank you to all of our visitors, supporters, volunteers and staff for helping to look after this extraordinary piece of history.
