6 September, 6:45pm

Join the Gloucestershire Bat Group for an informative and engaging bat evening.

Enjoy a complimentary hot drink by the fire pit before embarking on a private walk around the Garden, at sunset, when the local bat population is most active.

We are particularly hopeful to see bats around the Red House, where they roost, and near the pond, where they often feed.

Book your place at this fascinating bat walk delivered by local expert, Nigel Brooke-Smith.

-Join in a discussion about bats’ lifecycle and biology with real experts

-Learn how bat detectors work and how to use them

Tickets cost £25 per person. Painswick Rococo Garden will donate Bat Boxes to the Gloucestershire Bat Group.

As you can imagine, bat behaviour can be unpredictable. It depends on factors like weather and insect populations, so sightings are not guaranteed. In case of heavy rain, the event will be postponed.

The Gloucestershire Bat Group, are local consultants and volunteers affiliated with The Bat Conservation Trust. They organise local events to promote bat conservation.
