Wild Arts return to the beautiful Bowling Green for a third year, with a new evening of great opera – intrigue, jealousy, comedy, idealism and pure love. Our opera evening is a love story built around your favourite opera classics, arranged into 75 minutes of musical heaven, through which you can follow four characters’ journeys through a kaleidoscope of arias, duets, and ensembles. It is sung by the stars of tomorrow and played by a string quintet of top chamber musicians.
You are welcome to arrive from 6.15pm to enjoy the gardens, set up your picnic, and open the bubbly.
The performance will start at 7pm with a 45-minute interval, and will be finished soon after 9pm.
We are expecting a beautiful summer’s evening, but if the weather is not kind the performance will be in Painswick church.
