Community Outreach
A Chance to Grow
Thanks to a grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to share the Garden’s beauty and heritage with new audiences, we have employed a Community Outreach Gardener. Lisa is available to work with groups in Gloucestershire who are one of the following: young people with learning disabilities or neurodivergence, families who are home-educating, families in receipt of free school meals and carers or young carers.
Below are some examples of the activities that we’re able to offer. Please get in touch via email or ring us on 01452 813204 to discuss the full range of options available or to request a tailored session.

The National Lottery Heritage Fund is the largest funder for the UK’s heritage. Using money raised by National Lottery players we support projects that connect people and communities to heritage. Our vision is for heritage to be valued, cared for and sustained for everyone, now and in the future. From historic buildings, our industrial legacy and the natural environment, to collections, traditions, stories and more. Heritage can be anything from the past that people value and want to pass on to future generations. We believe in the power of heritage to ignite the imagination, offer joy and inspiration, and to build pride in place and connection to the past.
A Chance to Grow for Painswick Rococo Garden is made possible thanks to The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we have been able to welcome the local community to take part in a series of wellbeing visits, practical green skills sessions and heritage learning days.
